“Les rencontres de Calenzana”

Creation conducted in Music Education by students of the 4th bilingual Campo Vallone Biguglia under the direction of their teacher Emmanuelle Mariini.
During the school year, students conducted research, wrote a script and produced a docu-fiction in Corsican language retracing the life and work of composer Henri Tomasi to pay tribute to him.
This audiovisual project has been noticed by the Corsican Community as part of the call for projects “i Capizzoni di Corsica, e so vite facenu a nostra storia”.
It has received the approval of the Rectorate of Corsica. Marc Benedetti, director of education, education and training of the Corsican language, and Claude Tomasi, son of the composer, who supported the project have the wish that the video be paid to the archives of the Conservatory of Music and of Corsican Dance, as well as the Tommaso Prelà Heritage Library of the City of Bastia and that this teaching tool be disseminated and used. This film will also be screened at the “Festa di a Luce” in Penta di Casinca in August 2019.
